Scottish Country Dance
With Gary Thomas, Robert Sargent, Ron Wallace, and Ethan Bailey
Scottish Country Dancing is the exuberant social dancing that has been performed in the village halls and ballrooms of Scotland for several centuries, and is a precursor to American Square Dancing.
Everyone is welcome and no partner needed. Wear comfortable clothes and soft-soled shoes.
Monday Night Adult Classes
The new fall class, including beginners, will start on Sep. 8, 2025. But beginners may join at any time. Class Fees: Early class - $10, both classes - $12.
7:00 - 8:15 pm - Everyone, including newcomers
8:30 - 9:30 pm - Experienced dancers

Scheduling Notes:
Class parties are occasionally held when everyone may dance all night and everyone brings snacks and goodies for a social time during our break. Everyone is invited to bring a friend - anyone who might like to experience Scottish Dance.
The Monday class usually takes a break during the summer and near
Christmas, so please check first before coming during these times.
During August, our Pleasanton Games adjudication participants will be practicing their performances, but all experienced dancers are welcome to attend and dance alongside.
